How Much For Messi, Xavi And Iniesta?

Well, things have been pretty quiet this week, the only clear news seems to be Rafa Marquez's imminent move to New York Red Bulls where he will team up with Thierry Henry. Marquez has given us great service since signing in 2003 and despite a couple of poor seasons in 2007/08 and 2009/10 we should all remember how great he was before, particularly in the 2004/05 season when he regularly played the defensive midfield role to grea
t effect. I wish him all the best in the US.
As there is not too much else to talk about (I'd rather leave my thoughts on Rosell for a while and see how things develop over the summer), I decided to put a value on all our players based on the current transfer market. Of course this is very subjec
tive
and I'm sure there will be some disagreement but I thought it might start a good debate, I've tried to think what I would pay for each player if we had to buy him from another club, it doesn't mean I would be happy for any of our players to leave at these prices (who would sell Messi, Iniesta or Piqué? Not me at any price). So anyway, here goes, the valuation on the older players may seem a bit low, I only took current form and age into account (nothing to do with how long is left on their contracts).
